Accreditation & ISO

ISO standards are voluntary. We adopted them because they give the business a disciplined, externally audited basis for how we operate — from how an order is picked and dispatched to how customer data is handled and how we manage our environmental impact.

ISO 9001:2026 — Quality Management

ISO 9001 underpins the day-to-day running of the company: the systems, processes and procedures for taking, picking, packing and dispatching orders, handling returns and complaints, and reviewing performance. We were re-certified following our warehouse relocation and are certified to the current 2026 edition of the standard.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — Information Security

ISO 27001 covers how we protect information across the online store and our back-office systems. Those systems — the store platform, payment services, customer service and order management — are provided by specialist suppliers, so much of our information security work is in choosing and auditing them: we assess each supplier’s security certifications and controls before we use them and review them on a schedule, and we hold no card data ourselves. Customer data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy policy, and access to our systems is controlled and reviewed.

ISO 14001:2026 — Environmental Management

ISO 14001 covers how we measure and reduce our environmental impact. We reuse the large majority of inbound cardboard for outbound orders, all purchased packaging materials are biodegradable, the equipment we use is energy efficient, and we support battery recycling through our partnership with WasteCare — see Battery Recycling.
