The high-quality Powerline 8 battery charger from Ansmann can charge up to eight NiMH or NiCad 1.2V AA or AAA batteries simultaneously, which will all be monitored by its inbuilt microprocessor. The batteries do not need to be inserted in pairs unlike alternative chargers and can be charged in odd numbers.

This charger has clear LED indicators that will display the charging progress of the batteries, which will be individually monitored and charged to their maximum capacity. This LED will flash red to alert you, if you insert a battery that is not rechargeable. A discharge function is also available, which has the ability to refresh batteries that have been stored for long periods and can increase their capacity. Once a battery is fully charged, trickle charging is turned on, which prevents self-discharge, ensuring that the batteries are ready to use whenever needed.
