Accreditation & ISO

BatteryStation.co.uk's program of continual improvements includes working towards the common subset of ISO accreditations. While such frameworks are voluntary, we believe they form an excellent basis for our internal operating procedures.

ISO9001:2015

We are pleased to announce that we have once again achieved ISO 9001: 2015 after our recent warehouse relocation. The ISO9001: 2015 framework plays a central role in the management of our company in the systems, processes and procedures that we use on a daily basis.

We are pleased to announce the addition of ISO27001 to our accreditations. At BatteryStation.co.uk, we take data protection and information security very seriously on both our online store platform, and back office systems. Our systems, processes and data management follow the framework guidlines strictly. Any customer data is handled under GDPR provisions and practices. We are of course, PCI/DSS compliant.

ISO14001:2015

BatteryStation.co.uk believes that carefully considering our impact on the environment is not simply ethical and good corporate citizenship, but is also beneficial to our business model. While batteries themselves do require specific handling and recycling after use, packaging materials and energy consumption can also make a real difference. We already recycle around 90% of inbound cardboard inwards by reusing boxes and we aim to increase this figure to over 99% by Q2, 2020. All the devices we use are energy efficient and all purchased packaging materials are biodegradable.
