Xtar MX4 Mini Mixer 1.5V, 3.7V Lithium & AA/AAA NiMH Charger

The Xtar MX4 Mini Mixer is a compact four-slot charger designed to handle multiple battery chemistries at the same time. Each bay identifies the inserted cell type automatically and applies a suitable charging profile for lithium-ion (3.6/3.7 V), lithium iron phosphate (3.2 V), 1.5 V lithium rechargeable cells, and standard 1.2 V NiMH batteries. Its USB-C power input and independent slot control make it suitable for mixed-chemistry charging scenarios without manual current selection.

The charger accepts a broad range of cylindrical formats, from small 10440 cells up to unprotected 21700 batteries, as well as AA/AAA 1.5 V lithium and NiMH types. A mode switch allows the user to select between a general charging mode and a LiFePO₄-specific mode, ensuring correct voltage and termination behaviour. Charge progress is shown through individual LEDs, and built-in protections manage over-charge, short-circuit conditions, and activation of deeply discharged cells where appropriate.
